Summer 2021

This field course was designed and co-taught with faculty from Sterling College and aimed to investigate historical and contemporary relationships between fisheries, people and waterways in Downeast Maine. Students worked with fisheries historians, Native fishers, seaweed harvesters, shellfish farmers, restoration ecologists and commercial fisherman over the two-week intensive.
