Lydia Lapporte makes Nearshore.
She studied Environmental Studies and Studio Arts at Whitman College (2020) and works in the public humanities, arts, environment and education. She has worked with intertidal ecologies in Maine and California doing research, harvesting, community engagement, organizing and education and keeps a lot of craft practices.
